This position requires exceptional customer service, organization, and strong leadership qualities along with being assertive and energetic. Lease-up, Tax Credit and Onesite experience is a plus.
· Assist in the training and developing of leasing consultants as directed by Property Manager
· Motivating employees and with a focus on the Core Values of the company.
· Completing tasks assigned by the Property Manager
· Show Apartments to Prospective Residents
· Process Applications
· Lease Apartments
· Create Lease Files for new move ins and renewals
· Resident Relations as guided by manager
· Taking Maintenance Requests and closing work orders
· Assist in the collection of rents
· Market Surveys as directed by manager
· General Office Duties, filing – ensure all filing is up to date
· Answer Phones
· Resolving customer issues to their overall satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
· Provide an excellent product by maintaining quality and availability. This would include participating in the approval of unit turns and inspections. – as directed by manager
· Prepping and polishing units with move in gift in preparation of move in
· Conduct weekly training to include but not limited to the following:
ü Phone etiquette
ü Interview prospects
ü Fair Housing reminders
ü Walk path to unit being shown for the day
ü Create HOT list as directed by manager
ü Provide weekly report to manager
ü Make sure leasing office is cleaned, prepared and ready for each day
ü Create schedule with manager for weekend hours
Be mindful of occupancy and staff needed to get numbers up.
