Robert S. King
ENFIELD MANAGEMENT COMPANY, LLC - PRESIDENT

Highmark Holdings and Enfield Management are committed to providing safe, high quality, affordable housing and giving our residents the tools necessary to improve the quality of their lives.

Mr. King partnered with Mr. Joseph Torrence to form Highmark Holdings, LLC in June 2006.  Highmark Holdings is a Nashville, Tennessee based developer and sponsor of multifamily affordable housing, specializing in developments which qualify for Low Income Housing Tax Credits and tax-exempt bond financing. Highmark Holdings sponsored entities have purchased fourteen apartment communities located in Tennessee totaling 2,000 units. Ten of these acquisitions were financed with tax-exempt bonds and 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits and have involved renovations in excess of $30 million.

Mr. King partnered with Glynda Shamwell to form Enfield Management Company, LLC in 2013 to manage the multifamily assets owned by Highmark Holdings, in addition to pursuing other multifamily management opportunities.  Enfield Management prides itself on its focus on developing partnerships with community, government and educational organizations to provide high quality programs and services for the residents of its communities. Some of these partnerships include GREAT Families (MNPD), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, Regions Bank, Boy Scouts, Book 'em, TN Commission on Aging, Literacy Academy, Goodwill Career Solutions, Nashville International Center for Empowerment (NICE), United Way of Rutherford County, Workforce Essentials and UT Agricultural Extension Service.  The types of programs these partners provide include Nutrition and Cooking classes, Youth Mentoring, Youth and Adult Literacy, Job Readiness, Health and Wellness classes, Personal Finance classes and Youth Afterschool programs.

He is married and a father of five.  Mr. King was recognized by the Nashville Business Journal as a 2014 Forty Under 40 Honoree.  He graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1997 with a B.A. degree in Economics.  He is proud to be an active member of the Downtown Nashville Rotary Club, a member of the MLS2Nashville Committee, and to serve on the Board of Directors of the Martha O'Bryan Center, one of Nashville's oldest and most respected nonprofits serving the underprivileged.
