Meet the Team

Glynda Shamwell
ENFIELD MANAGEMENT COMPANY, LLC - PARTNER & DIRECTOR OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

In 2013, Mrs. Shamwell co-founded Enfield Management Company LLC., alongside Mr. Robert King. Together, they established a distinguished professional property management firm specializing in multifamily apartment communities.

As the Director of Property Management for Enfield Management, Mrs. Shamwell provides strategic leadership for the operational facets of our diverse portfolio. This currently includes properties with Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and developments with layered Tax Credits and Home Funds. Additionally, she oversees two communities with layered Tax Credits and RAD Funding.

With an illustrious career solely dedicated to property management, Mrs. Shamwell's journey began in 1985 as the on-site manager of a 48-unit Rural Development property in Greenbrier, Tennessee. Her dedication and expertise led to successive promotions, culminating in her role as Vice President. In this capacity, she managed a portfolio of twenty-five apartment communities spread across three states, totaling 2,000 units. Her experience encompasses the management of various property types, including conventional multifamily apartments, LIHTC communities, student housing units at Middle Tennessee State University, USDA Rural Development properties, and a 72-unit Luxury Condominium Homeowners Association.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Shamwell has actively pursued professional development, completing numerous courses and training seminars. She holds certifications as a Certified Credit Compliance Professional, a Specialist in Housing Credit Management, and a Housing Credit Certified Professional. Her commitment to industry excellence is further proven by her past service on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Association of Affordable Housing.

Residing in Greenbrier, Tennessee, Mrs. Shamwell is a devoted wife and proud mother of two children. Additionally, she cherishes her role as a grandmother to four beloved grandchildren.
