Meet the Team

Debra Hicks

Debra joined the Enfield Management team in 2013 where she transitioned from being an onsite manager for the largest tax credit community in TN of 482 units to becoming a District Manager currently overseeing 1,370 units.

Debra began her career in the property management industry in 1990 as a cleaning person, “trying to make ends meet”.  She was soon offered a leasing position job on the weekends and as she gained experience and a passion for the industry, she was promoted to a Property Manager position within 12 months overseeing a 200 units complex in Nashville.

Throughout opportunities and a willingness to learn and grow, Debra continued in the industry and was introduced to the Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) program in 2006 where she found her “niche”. 

Debra has completed many professional development courses and training seminars and is certified with  the Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) and Accredited Residential Manager (ARM).  Her desire to further her knowledge is ongoing.

Debra resides in Hermitage, Tennessee, is married with 5 children and 1 grandchild.
