Highmark Holdings and Enfield Management are committed to providing safe, high quality, affordable housing and giving our residents the tools necessary to improve the quality of their lives.

Mr. King partnered with Mr. Joseph Torrence to form Highmark Holdings, LLC in June 2006.  Highmark Holdings is a Nashville, Tennessee based developer and sponsor of multifamily affordable housing, specializing in developments which qualify for Low Income Housing Tax Credits and tax-exempt bond financing. Highmark Holdings sponsored entities have purchased fourteen apartment communities located in Tennessee totaling 2,000 units. Ten of these acquisitions were financed with tax-exempt bonds and 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits and have involved renovations in excess of $30 million.

Mr. King partnered with Glynda Shamwell to form Enfield Management Company, LLC in 2013 to manage the multifamily assets owned by Highmark Holdings, in addition to pursuing other multifamily management opportunities.  Enfield Management prides itself on its focus on developing partnerships with community, government and educational organizations to provide high quality programs and services for the residents of its communities. Some of these partnerships include GREAT Families (MNPD), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, Regions Bank, Boy Scouts, Book 'em, TN Commission on Aging, Literacy Academy, Goodwill Career Solutions, Nashville International Center for Empowerment (NICE), United Way of Rutherford County, Workforce Essentials and UT Agricultural Extension Service.  The types of programs these partners provide include Nutrition and Cooking classes, Youth Mentoring, Youth and Adult Literacy, Job Readiness, Health and Wellness classes, Personal Finance classes and Youth Afterschool programs.

He is married and a father of five.  Mr. King was recognized by the Nashville Business Journal as a 2014 Forty Under 40 Honoree.  He graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1997 with a B.A. degree in Economics.  He is proud to be an active member of the Downtown Nashville Rotary Club, a member of the MLS2Nashville Committee, and to serve on the Board of Directors of the Martha O'Bryan Center, one of Nashville's oldest and most respected nonprofits serving the underprivileged.

In 2013, Mrs. Shamwell co-founded Enfield Management Company LLC., alongside Mr. Robert King. Together, they established a distinguished professional property management firm specializing in multifamily apartment communities.

As the Director of Property Management for Enfield Management, Mrs. Shamwell provides strategic leadership for the operational facets of our diverse portfolio. This currently includes properties with Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and developments with layered Tax Credits and Home Funds. Additionally, she oversees two communities with layered Tax Credits and RAD Funding.

With an illustrious career solely dedicated to property management, Mrs. Shamwell's journey began in 1985 as the on-site manager of a 48-unit Rural Development property in Greenbrier, Tennessee. Her dedication and expertise led to successive promotions, culminating in her role as Vice President. In this capacity, she managed a portfolio of twenty-five apartment communities spread across three states, totaling 2,000 units. Her experience encompasses the management of various property types, including conventional multifamily apartments, LIHTC communities, student housing units at Middle Tennessee State University, USDA Rural Development properties, and a 72-unit Luxury Condominium Homeowners Association.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Shamwell has actively pursued professional development, completing numerous courses and training seminars. She holds certifications as a Certified Credit Compliance Professional, a Specialist in Housing Credit Management, and a Housing Credit Certified Professional. Her commitment to industry excellence is further proven by her past service on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Association of Affordable Housing.

Residing in Greenbrier, Tennessee, Mrs. Shamwell is a devoted wife and proud mother of two children. Additionally, she cherishes her role as a grandmother to four beloved grandchildren.

Mac McDonald began his career in real estate finance and development in 1975. After graduating Vanderbilt Law School and serving as Staff Assistant to former Tennessee Governor Winfield Dunn for four years, he was involved in the early stages of Municipal Financing of Affordable Housing. He was instrumental in crafting a tax-exempt revenue bond financing structure which combined GHA Mortgage Insurance and rent subsidies for the first AA and AAA rated affordable housing revenue bonds in America.

In addition, he acted as the first Bond trustee for the Tennessee Housing Development Agency, one of the early state housing finance agencies to use tax-exempt bonds for single and multi-family housing. He also acted as senior investment banker for a number of local city and county single family bond programs-all aimed at providing quality housing that served low and moderate income families.

Mr. McDonald has originated apartment loans for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA as well as providing debt financing through mortgage backed security structures. He has raised more than one billion dollars for affordable housing in his career.

He has developed raw land and invested in residential and commercial projects. Some of his notable achievements include land assemblage and early development on the eastern portion of Cool Springs in Franklin, Tennessee, the largest mixed-use commercial project in Tennessee, rehabilitating three historic buildings in Downtown Nashville, developing land for the largest Yellow Freight terminal in Tennessee near John Tune Airport and for a portion of Century City near the Nashville International Airport for the international headquarters of Willis-Coroon, a major insurance brokerage. In 1990, he led the efforts to create THE DISTRICT, a non-profit economic development initiative that was created pursuant to the federal Main Street USA program and served as Chair for the first five years. After the success of THE DISTRICT he served on the organizing committee to establish The Nashville Downtown Partnership, a special purpose quasi-governmental body of property owners in the downtown area who voted to assess themselves over existing property tax burdens to bring extraordinary services to the area. As a result Downtown Nashville is considered a model for preserving the character and vitality of central business districts in America. He has received numerous awards for his community services, including Volunteer of the Year by the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. McDonald is a licensed real estate professional in Tennessee.

Ashley has been with Enfield Management since 2018. As Director of Real Estate Development, she leads the full cycle of development activities including acquisition, dispositions, financing, rehab, new construction, and asset management of properties. Ashley has been involved in the acquisition and disposition of over $150 million in deal volume.

Prior to relocating to Nashville, Ashley worked as a Research Manager at CoStar Group in Washington, DC and as a multifamily intern at Grubb & Ellis (NKF) in Los Angeles, California. She has a Master of Real Estate Development from Auburn University and Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Communication from Southeast Missouri State University.

Ashley serves on the NextUp Board of the Martha O’Bryan Center, one of Nashville’s oldest nonprofits, she is also a member of the Nashville Chapter of Urban Land Institute and a CCIM candidate.

Ashley is a proud “Army Brat” and has lived in 3 different countries. She is married to Andy Massie, together, they have one young son and a pup. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, being outdoors and trying new restaurants in the growing Nashville food scene.

Alexis Lewis serves as the Resident Programs Coordinator. She is responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with community, government and educational organizations to provide high quality programs and services for the residents living in our communities. Her focus is to enhance the quality of life of our families.

Some of the partnerships that Alexis has successfully developed include GREAT Families (MNPD), Boy Scouts, Book 'em, TN Commission on Aging, Literacy Academy, Goodwill Career Solutions, Nashville International Center for Empowerment (NICE), Family & Children's Services, Bradley County Health Department, Project AWARE, Barnabas Vision, Greenhouse Ministries, Regions Bank, Tennessee State University and UT Agricultural Extension Service. The types of programs these partners provide include nutrition and cooking classes, youth mentoring, youth and adult literacy, job readiness, health and wellness classes, personal finance classes and youth afterschool programming.

With over 20 years of involvement in the non-profit community, some of her past work experience includes serving as the VP of Membership & Marketing at Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee, Program Director at YWCA of Middle Tennessee and Cultural Enrichment Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of Franklin. Alexis received a Bachelor's degree in both Human & Organizational Development and Sociology from Vanderbilt University. She and her husband, Dwayne, reside in Nashville and have two daughters and three sons. 

Allie joined Enfield Management eight years ago, in August of 2015, starting as an on-site manager. In this role, she managed the day-to-day tasks of leasing apartments, resident retention, working with maintenance staff, collecting, and posting rents, organizing community events, and much more. With time, her expertise grew, leading her to become a valuable trainer for new property managers.

At the beginning of 2018, Allie transitioned into her current role as Director of Marketing and Communications. In this capacity, she oversees the development and implementation of all external and internal Marketing and Communications efforts on behalf of Highmark Holdings and Enfield Management.

Allie's pursued her education at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, earning a bachelor's degree in communications with a concentration in public relations. During her time at Austin Peay State University, she also took on roles as a leasing agent and finance manager at a student housing community near campus.

Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Allie currently resides in White House, TN with her husband and two children. She cherishes her time spent with family and friends and has a deep love for exploring different parts of the world.

Tiffany joined Enfield Management as the Compliance Director in November of 2013 where she oversees compliance with tax credit and public housing regulations for all properties within the portfolio.  

Tiffany began working in property management in 1999 and continued working through high school and while attending Tennessee State University.  She earned a bachelor's degree in business and has since earned her HCCP and PHM certifications.  

Tiffany was born and raised in Middle Tennessee, where she currently resides with her husband and three children.  

Ms. Pinkelton started her property management career in 2005 managing an LIHTC property of 120 units. In 2013, she accepted a position with Enfield Management to continue as a property manager.  In 2015, Mr. King and Mrs. Shamwell approached her with an opportunity to oversee the acquisition and rehabilitation of two 96-unit properties in East Tennessee.  During this time, she was promoted to District Manager. She currently oversees 9 properties in the Middle and East Tennessee areas totaling nearly 1200 units. 

Throughout her career, Ms. Pinkelton has specialized in LIHTC, layered tax credit and Public Housing funds, and RAD. She has completed many professional developments courses and training seminars.  In 2016, she became a Housing Credit Certified Professional.  She encourages and guides her team to develop good work ethics and professionalism.

Ms. Pinkelton resides in the Middle Tennessee area.  She has raised two children that have gone on to develop their own careers in the military and medical fields.  She has a son, daughter, and their spouses.  She is lucky enough to be Gramma to her two grandsons, Theodore and Wesley.
